Could Katie Holmes be giving husband Tom Cruise the best Christmas present of all – a baby? With all the evidence lined up, it certainly seems likely. The actress has fuelled speculation in Hollywood that she’s pregnant with her second child by stepping out with all the tell-tale signs of a mum-to-be – the flat shoes, bags and blankets carefully placed to hide her tummy and, more importantly, the noticeable baby bump.

After tongues began wagging in August, Katie – who has been filming the new movie Jack And Jill with funnyman and fellow parent Adam Sandler – has had an undeniable glow as she approaches her 32nd birthday on December 18. And as she left the lavish Allure Of The Seas cruise liner in Florida with four-year-old Suri in tow, the brunette beauty seemed more conscious than ever of covering up. Having filmed scenes on board the mammoth ship for the film, which tells the tale of a man whose twin sister arrives for Thanksgiving then refuses to leave, a smiling Katie kept a tight grip on Suri’s hand as they disembarked.

Nicole Kidman: ''Sophia Loren is my role model"

The 42-year-old Aussie star has revealed to People magazine that her role model in the autumnal looks department is 75-year-old screen veteran Sophia Loren. "I just worked with Sophia Loren [in Nine], and she is so gorgeous and she has such grace. I use her as a role model," said Nicole when asked how she copes with the pressure from Hollywood to stay youthful. Another three decades of Botox and some crazy lip injections... yeah we'd say she's about on track.

Nicole Kidman's nature-defying face has been getting a lot more attention than her film roles of late. But according to a critic at Entertainment Weekly, her face is starting to move again. "Kidman’s famous features do move - a little more - in [new movie] Rabbit Hole", says critic Lisa Schwarzbaum.

"By whatever methods she has employed, the actor currently looks somewhat softer and a little more natural, playing a woman nearly catatonic with grief.'

Lisa predicts that Nicole's role will put her back on the map as a badass Hollywood actor - and with any luck, take her off the list of plastic surgery disasters getting slammed in the celeb world. Lisa dares Nicole to walk out of the house looking haggard. Ha! "Show us your flaws, Nic!" she says.

James Blunt applies new technique

The British singer confirmed he has emailed all this mates asking them to buy a copy of his third album called ''Some Kind Of Trouble''. "I've done that with every one of my albums and if you wrote a book I'm pretty sure you would do the same,'' he told AAP in Sydney during  promotion for the album and his forthcoming national tour.

It was a simple email saying, 'Hey my album's out and if you could spread the word I'd be grateful'. "Friends don't judge you on that, it's what friends are for," he reckons.

Guess they must be very good friends indeed. :)

Usher being accused for song stealing

Usher is accused of ripping off his hit song 'Caught Up' from an aspiring singer. Wadena Pyatt claims she was signed to Alicia Keys' MBK Entertainment label back in 2003 when she wrote the track intended for her debut album. But Usher got in first and used it for his hit album Confessions and failed to list her as a songwriter, according to legal documents Pyatt filed in New York recently.


Pyatt is demanding damages for profits received from sales of the song released in 2004, reports AllHipHop.com

Halle Berry spotted snogging Kylie Minogue's ex

We thought Halle Berry was still with her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, but according to People magazine she's switched to a new manbag — Kylie Minogue's ex boyfriend Olivier Martinez. The tabloids have been blabbing on lately about Halle being “torn between two lovers”... but by the sound of things she made up her mind and picked Olivier. They had their arms around each other as they walked. They were both smiling and laughing. Their body language was very flirtatious. They definitely seemed like a couple – absolutely looked like more than friends,” the source added.


The pair, both 44, are co-staring in the movie Dark Tide.

Altiyan Childs wins X Factor 2010

Altiyan Childs left fellow final-three contestants Andrew Lawson and Sally Chatfield in his wake in the grand final show with a rousing rendition of U2's Beautiful Day. He was announced The X Factor winner at a star-studded and pyrotechnic charged show in Sydney on Monday night at the Grand Final.

Earlier in the evening it was announced teen favourite Lawson had scored the fewest viewer votes and became the first of the top three to be booted off the show. His mentor Kyle Sandilands said Lawson was a "real gentleman" who was sure to score a record contract regardless of the result. "Just standing in the final is incredible," Lawson told the crowd. After his elimination, Chatfield and Childs then took over the battle to the stage. But when it came down to the final announcement, it was clear the crowd's favourite was a popular choice for winner. When Childs' name was announced the live audience erupted as did a series of fireworks.


Childs then took to The X Factor stage for the final time to give a rousing performance of the winner's song Somewhere In The World, complete with his now instantly recognisable and unconventional dance moves.

His mentor Ronan Keating said he was "incredibly proud" to see his charge take home the title of X FACTOR. ''He just ticks all the boxes, he's a real star," Keating said. He also added, "The world just needs to get ready for Altiyan Childs.''
Childs made special mention of his relationship with his mentor who he hugged repeatedly after his name was announced. He also made tribute to his dad. "It's like a poetic dream, I know how close it came," he told the crowd later. "I thank the mystery that created me.''

The two hour finale show was a spectacle of talent, with the likes of Jamiroquai, INXS, James Blunt and Guy Sebastian featuring US rapper Eve all taking to the stage to perform their latest singles. US rocker/actor Jack Black also made a recorded appearance taking the final three through their paces in a celebrity boot camp to prepare them for stardom. All of the top 12 contestants also returned to the stage to belt out a couple of hits.

David Arquette blames Jennifer Aniston for his divorce

David Arquette has reportedly blasted his wife's best friend Jennifer Aniston, accusing her of meddling in his marriage. According to The Mirror. the 39-year-old phoned Jen after his split from Courteney Cox, telling her, "You never like me from the start."

A source tells the paper he also made a quip about the Friends star at the premiere of his new movie The Legend Of Hallow Dega. "The film was shot in Courteney's home state of Alabama," said David. "Actually, while I was there I came across a town called Anniston. I should have known that was an omen'." Meow!

Keating apologises to his wife

X Factor judge Ronan Keating has made a public apology to his wife Yvonne after he reportedly cheated on her with a backing dancer.

The 33-year-old used the sleeve of his new album Duet to say sorry for having the affair with 26-year-old Francine Cornell last year, the Daily Mail reports. "For the mistakes I have made in my life, I am sorry. Guess you have to go there to come back. It was a dark place and you were the light to bring me back. I love you," the message reads.

In May this year Keating announced that he was separating from Yvonne after 12 years of marriage saying that the split was "amicable". But soon afterwards UK tabloids reported the break-up had occurred after Mrs Keating, an Irish-born model, learned he was having an affair.

Mrs Keating reportedly found text messages on the pop star's phone from Ms Cornell, who was a backing dancer in his group Boyzone. After announcing the split, the singer travelled to Australia to appear as a judge on the X Factor. Mrs Keating and their three young children later joined him in Sydney, suggesting Ronan has managed to save his relationship. Ronan's message in Duet is the first time he has publically addressed the reasons behind their break-up.

But Vanessa Paradis convinced Depp to cut the scene after first asking him to ditch the role altogether, a Hollywood source said. ''He told the producers it cheapened the movie,'' the source told the Mail on Sunday.

Hugh Jackman has turned down an offer to host the 83rd Academy Awards in February over conflicts with the filming of X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, its reported. Jackman hosted the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 and was asked back due to popuar demand.
