Modern-day actresses or previous beauty sirens

Women would rather emulate the modern look of stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Kate Winslet than the old Hollywood glamour of Marilyn Monroe, according to a study.

Monroe had long been considered the benchmark of glamour, but she has been superseded by the girl next door  look.

Hollywood beauties such as Winslet, Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Rachel McAdams beat the classical looks of Elizabeth Taylor and Monroe in a poll  by Venus Embrace.

According to the survey, women find it easier to copy the look of modern actresses rather than old beauties of 60's, 70's and 80's.
